The American Association of Brazilian Candomblé and Culture serves as a national platform for the exposure and exploration of authentic Candomblé. We accomplish this goal through exhibitions of contemporary and traditional Candomblé dance, music, visual art, literature and spiritual practice. We give a voice and venue to the growth and practice of Candomblé in the United States and intend to further connect this gem of the Yoruba diaspora to its sister traditions in Nigeria, Haiti, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad.

 

The core membership of the AABCC is comprised of initiates, artists, researchers and supporters, who seek to perpetuate authentic Candomblé.
